Dear Friends and Colleagues in the Respiratory Control Study Community,
Respiratory control is the most important physiological function to maintain lives, and elucidation of the respiratory control mechanism is essential for a deeper understanding of the significance of breathing in health and diseases.
The Oxford Conference on Modelling and Control of Breathing was born in 1978 in order to more deeply understand the mechanism of respiratory control through joint discussion and collaboration by modelling and experimental researchers. Since then the Conference has been successfully held in various countries around the world approximately every 3 years.
Although the 15th Oxford Conference had initially been scheduled for autumn 2020 following the successful Conference in Oxford in 2017, it has been postponed twice to a new date (from October 17th to October 21st, 2022) due to the pandemic of COVID-19.
Now we are delighted to cordially invite you to the Oxford Conference 2020 held in 2022. We wish the Conference provides you with the opportunity to meet on-site to share and exchange new ideas and to begin global collaboration in the respiratory control study. Please enjoy the scientific discussion as well as Japanese culture in Odawara.
